This book is fabulous!  You can download an entire appendix of greeting activities for free from Stenhouse Publishing House.  (Printing privileges have been disabled, but you can easily reference the document from your hard drive anytime you need a new greeting, or write down the ideas you'd like to use).

These 3 books are especially good for primary grade teachers, but I got a lot out of them for my third graders, too.

This book focuses on having children reflect on their learning- very powerful.

Remember:

The hug at the end of the day is as important as the greeting in the morning.

Ideas and photos from my own classroom coming in September 2006!!
