Recently I've received several emails from teachers wanting to share their classroom photos and organizational ideas on the site. Because I anticipate getting even more photos when the new school year begins, I thought I'd plan ahead and start organizing the page into a format that's easy for me to upload (I won't have to save each photo to my server) and quicker for you to download. From now on, pictures of other classrooms will be in Microsoft Word documents. You can enlarge the pictures yourself if you want by clicking and dragging a corner.
Anyone who wants to submit their own classroom photos can do so by copying and pasting their photos into a Word document and writing any explanatory captions underneath. Then just email the Word document to me as an attachment. I'll add my own comments, send the document for you to preview, and then upload it to the site.
Thanks to those who have taken the time to share- you are making this site a more valuable resource for all of us!!
The pics were taken at the end of the school year, so a lot of things had been taken down, but we get the idea! I love how organized her room is. She has struck what is in my opinion the perfect balance between having a clutter-free room that is not overstimulating, while still creating an inviting, warm atmosphere that makes kids want to learn. I hope you enjoy viewing her pictures as much as I have! :-)

Windy has a very inviting, warm classroom environment, so if you're looking for ways to make your classroom feel more 'homey', check these photos out. She also has some excellent pictures of her class library, which is quite extensive.

Tiffany is the queen of organization and has photos of creative, easily manageable ways to keep track of everything from centers to school supplies to student work. This is a very large file, so be patient- I promise it's worth the wait!! (Jan 2007- Congratulations, Tiffany, on your new position as Literacy Resource Teacher!)
Be prepared- this is a HUGE file- 16 pages of incredible photos and detailed captions! Helen has tons of great organizational and management tips that are adaptable for teachers of any grade level. I've added my own comments in red. This is a must-see for creative ideas that will make your classroom run smoothly and efficiently. Thank you, Helen, for sharing!
